Project Overview
The Brief was to produce an interactive kids' product with the use of elements from the periodic table.

Atomic is an interactive experience designed to aid kids aged 8-10 with the initial introduction to elements of the periodic table in an interactive and fun way.

The concept I came up with while researching was a "launchpad" like interface with different buttons and interactions to gain the child's attention and educate them about 5 deadly elements.
The app name is “Atomic” because of the atoms but also explosions. The branding features a large font with the letter “O” filled in and coloured red. This was done as it reminded me of the red buttons you see on the dashboards in power plants which were my big inspiration. As we had a play on words I’ve also added a symbol of an atom to match.
